What can you expect on your safari game drive when staying at Kruger Riverside Lodge ?
Guests will be collected at 04:45 am from Kruger Riverside Lodge in Marloth Park in an open safari vehicle. The journey begins at the Crocodile Bridge entrance gate.
The southern area of South Africa’s most famous game reserve, the Kruger National Pak, is separated from lush farmland by the Crocodile River, a popular area to spot crocodiles, playful hippos, and thirsty wildlife. The game viewing area is renowned for its elephants and lions, with different prides boasting an array of different hunting techniques and behaviors to observe.
Our guide is experienced and fully accredited and will be your eyes and ears fulfilling your bucket list dreams by making every effort to help you spot the Big 5 (Lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino), Being passionate about the animals they cannot help but also introducing you to the unique little five and even the ugly five that the Kruger is famous for. The Big Five is found in high numbers throughout the Park boasting an estimated elephant population of about 30 000. Around 550 different birds roam the skies, including the enigmatic African fish eagle and the Cape Vulture, a fully protected endangered species.
You will travel in our comfortable open safari vehicle giving you an improved vantage point for sightings, and for those keen photographers, the freedom to focus on capturing special moments without restrictions
The duration of your half-day Kruger Park game drive is usually around 6 hours and includes a light-packed breakfast. Meals and beverages at camps are for the guest’s account.
