As the sun sets on another successful day at World Travel Market (WTM) Africa 2025, we can’t help but reflect on the incredible moments that have unfolded over the past three days. From bustling exhibition halls to insightful panel discussions, the energy and enthusiasm for travel and tourism have been palpable.

The theme of this year’s event was clear: people, possibilities, and places. It was a celebration of the connections that travel can create between individuals, cultures, and countries. The event brought together exhibitors, buyers, speakers, and partners from all corners of the globe, showcasing the diversity and richness of the tourism industry.

One of the standout features of this year’s WTM Africa was the record-breaking attendance. The sheer number of visitors and participants underscored the growing importance of the African tourism market on the global stage. New source markets were identified, partnerships were forged, and deals were made that will undoubtedly shape the future of travel in the region.

But beyond the numbers and statistics, what truly made this year’s WTM Africa special were the personal connections and unforgettable moments that were shared. From impromptu meetings in the exhibition hall to inspiring keynote speeches on stage, there was a sense of camaraderie and shared passion for travel that united everyone in attendance.

As we bid farewell to WTM Africa 2025, we want to extend a heartfelt thank you to all those who made this event possible. To the exhibitors who showcased their destinations with pride, the buyers who sought out new opportunities, the speakers who shared their insights, and the guests who brought their enthusiasm and curiosity – you all played a part in making this year’s event a success.

And while the curtains may have closed on WTM Africa 2025, we already have our sights set on the next chapter. Join us in Host City of Cape Town from the 13th to the 15th of April 2026, where we will once again come together to celebrate the beauty and potential of travel and tourism. Until then, keep exploring, connecting, and embracing all that the world has to offer. Safe travels!
